Travel Bucket List – 5 Trips I’m Dying to Take

02/13/2018 0 Comments

Where in the world will 2018 take me? My brother and I are in the middle of planning our next adventure, but can’t decide on where to go. There are so many corners of the world I hope to explore – and plan to in the years to come. But in the meantime, I am focusing on what will be my next big trip. I figured it might be fun to let my readers weigh in on the decision!

2017 was my first real taste of travel, and needless to say I am hooked. Four trips, five countries, and a whole lot of memories later, I’m eager to add a few more stamps to my passport! I’m so excited to start planning my next adventure. Here are the top five destinations on my bucket list!

The Azores, Portugal

The Azores are one of the most beautiful islands I’ve ever seen. My moms side of the family has ties to this beautiful location, which is a major motivation for visiting. There are plenty of beautiful hikes, natural pools, and sweeping landscapes in the Azores. This destination would truly be an adventure.

Copenhagen, Denmark

This charming little corner of Europe was voted one of the safest places for solo female travelers. Although I do intend on traveling with someone else, that was the main reason I looked into this city in the first place. Since then I’ve become fascinated with its culture and people. Although I love warm weather, I would love to visit Copenhagen in the winter time!

Norway

I have been fascinated by this country for a while now! When planning my trip to London and Ireland two years ago, we had debated traveling to Norway and Sweden. Something about the landscape here pulled me in. It’s an expensive place to travel, but it’s hard to argue with views like these.

Italy

Ironically enough, I don’t have a specific part of Italy on my bucket list. It is one of the few counties where I would be happy seeing any of the major cities. I have many friends and family who have traveled here and all of them recommend different spots to visit. Any trip here will have to be multi-city so that I can squeeze out as much adventure possible.

Anguilla

This special group of islands sits between the British Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and St. Kitts & Nevis. The British owned territory is comprised of one main island and several smaller islands. The average annual temperature here is 80 degrees Fahrenheit, making this the perfect island getaway from the cold winter months here in New England!

DREAM DESTINATION: AUSTRALIA

Number one on my list of dream destinations is Australia! I can’t wait to be able to spend an entire month here exploring this amazing country. The beautiful beaches, friendly people, and overall vibe that Australia exudes is second to none. I love the emphasis Australian’s place on living an active and healthy lifestyle as well. Australia will always be my Dream Destination!

Be sure to chime in and let me know where you think I should plan my next trip! Until then, I’ll just be over here dreaming of these beautiful countries.

What are some of the destinations on your bucket list?
